乔安娜 Huyck
Professional Lecturer
生物
乔安娜 has been teaching at Marist since 2011 and joined the full-time faculty in 2015. She specializes in developing and teaching online and blended communication and interdisciplinary core courses. She is an advocate of study abroad opportunities for working adult students.
为 10 years prior to joining Marist, 乔安娜 was a Workforce Development Instructor facilitating programs and courses for displaced and stagnant workers seeking to gain new skills and career advancement.
Prior to her academic career, 乔安娜 worked as Legislative Director for former New York State Assemblyman Eric Vitaliano and as Director of Public Policy and Affairs for the Council of Community Services of New York State.
While earning her master’s degree, 乔安娜 was the assistant to Dr. Alan Chartock, President and CEO of WAMC/NPR radio and a well-known political observer, commentator, and policy shaper. In this role, she helped to oversee publication of The Legislative Gazette and the undergraduate legislative internship program.
